I was entranced by this story. I could picture the village and its backdrop vividly because of the beautiful description. The characters were intriguing, as was the story surrounding this woman who had come to this place to find solace or life, you don't know which because it ends leaving you wanting more. I found the writing wistful and engaging at the same time. Beautiful! I need a sequel.
I love a story that I can feel...that grabs hold of not only your attention but also your senses. There were many beautifully put passages that I found my self reading and rereading certain sentences, the way I do when I truly love the way the words are linked so perfectly. The description of the place in which this story happens was perfect!! I will say though I was left wanting more....but then I do tend to be one of those people who always wants more)
